Buckle Up London! The CMAOntario RoundUp Is Coming To Town

The Country Music Association of Ontario (CMAOntario) is excited to announce details of the CMAOntario RoundUp taking place throughout London, Ontario next month. A variety of events are scheduled from June 8-11, 2017, bringing the Ontario country music industry together with local communities in celebration of the province’s rich musical talent and heritage. CMAOntario RoundUp festivities kick off on Thursday, June 8 with a legacy concert at Purple Hill Country Hall featuring a number of pioneering musicians that have paved the way for so many of today’s country artists. CMAOntario R2I Spring Tune Up Conference

The fourth edition of the CMAOntario R2I Spring Tune Up Conference will feature a two-day program of learning, networking and showcasing on Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11, 2017, at the Delta London Armouries by Marriott in London, Ontario. Programming will cover artist development, navigating Nashville, songwriting, digital marketing, promotion, funding and more. Attendees will hear first-hand the stories that inspired some of today’s top hits during the perennial favourite Songwriters In The Round session. The Country Music Association of Ontario Announces the 2017 CMAOntario Award Nominees

The Country Music Association of Ontario (CMAOntario) is pleased to announce the nominees for the fifth annual CMAOntario Awards. Presented by Slaight Music, with support from the Ontario Media Development Corporation, the awards recognize the talent and achievements of Ontario’s country music industry across 16 categories.  Meghan Patrick leads the pack with seven nominations while James Barker Band, River Town Saints, Jessica Mitchell, Cold Creek County, Jason Blaine, Tim Hicks and The Abrams are among the multiple nominees being honoured at the ceremony on Sunday, June 11th at Centennial Hall in London, Ontario. CMAO Membership Survey – Fall 2016 Results

Over the summer period, the Membership Committee decided it was time to look out the window at our neighbourhood and get to know the neighbours a little better. We wanted to encourage a good response rate, so our first-ever Membership Survey was designed to be short and sweet, but allow us to collect some key information. Many might think that 51 respondents is a bit light, but recognizing that our current membership is just north of 500, simple math makes this a 10% response rate. Sure, we wish it was more, but the direct marketing companies would be popping champagne over a 10% response – they’re used to 4%! Here’s what we learned: The gender split is 52% male / 48% female. London to Host the 2017 CMAO Awards

The Country Music Assocation of Ontario (CMAO) is excited to announce London, Ontario as the host city for the 2017 CMAO Awards.
