CMAOntario Awards to go Live and Loud in London with 10th Anniversary Celebration

February 14, 2022 (TORONTO)

The Country Music Association of Ontario is excited to announce that the CMAOntario Awards will be returning to London in June 2022 for a live and loud celebration in honour of the event’s 10th anniversary. The Awards, presented by Slaight Music, will cap off a weekend of live events scheduled throughout the city from June 2-5, with a rousing celebration on Sunday, June 5th, 7pm, at Centennial Hall.

“Live music is back, and I am ecstatic that the CMAOntario Festival & Awards will return to London to celebrate their 10thanniversary. London is a city filled with incredible musical talents, skilled industry professionals, remarkable venues and world-class music fans making London, Canada’s first UNESCO City of Music! Come discover what makes London such an exciting City of Music,” said Mayor Ed Holder.

Tickets for the CMAOntario Awards will be available for purchase to the public as of 11:00am, Friday, February 18 online at Eventbrite or by phone at 1.888.999.8980. Early bird pricing will be in effect with prices ranging from $69.00 (plus taxes and service fees) for regular reserved seating to $225.00 (plus taxes and service fees) for fan VIP packages. Full ticket pricing goes into effect as of April 1, 2022.

CMAOntario Members can access an advance pre-sale window starting today at 1:00pm and take advantage of special members-only pricing on regular tickets and combo packages. Promo codes to access the pre-sale window and members’ discount will be sent to CMAOntario members via email through the Association.

“We’re delighted to be celebrating our 10th anniversary in Music City! The people of London know how to have a good time, and we have a full slate of fun weekend events leading up to the Awards Show for the entire city to enjoy!” said CMAOntario President Steve Kassay.

Nominations for the 2022 CMAOntario Awards are now open for submissions at cmaontario.ca. Additional details, including performers, will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Awards are preceded by a weekend of activities, launching with the Legacy Revival on Thursday, June 2, 2022. Other events over the weekend include Songs & Stories: Songwriters in the Round, R2i TuneUp Conference, Street Fair, Bonfire (formerly New Faces Showcase & Concert) and Tailgate Party.
