Johnson Crook Selected to Perform at Lucknow’s Music In The Fields

The CMAOntario is happy to announce that Johnson Crook of Toronto, Ontario, is the winner of the Lucknow’s Music In The Fields performance opportunity. Johnson Crook will take to the Emerging Artist Stage on Friday, August 25 for two performance slots – 8:30pm and 10:00pm. If you’re going to the festival, make sure to catch their performance. Newcomer Meghan Patrick Wins Big at 2017 CMAOntario Awards with Four Awards

London’s Centennial Hall was the place to be June 11th as artists, industry and fans alike assembled to toast the 5th Annual Country Music Association of Ontario Awards. Hosted by consummate entertainer, performer and musician Jason McCoy, the awards show was replete with appearances and presentations from today’s top Ontario country stars, including a guest performance by Canadian chart topper Aaron Pritchett. Accolades were bestowed among 16 categories spanning talent and industry, all made possible through the incredible support of Slaight Music, the show’s presenting sponsor, Ontario Media Development Corporation and Tourism London. Congratulations to Ben Hudson on being selected as a finalist in the 2017 CCMA Spotlight Performance Contest.  Ben was selected among numerous submissions to the CMAOntario to represent Ontario and the Association in the national competition. Performers Announced for the New Faces Showcase

Congratulations to Amanda Jordan, Ben Hudson, Brea Lawrenson, Sacha and Steve Rivers on being selected to perform at the New Faces Showcase & Concert being held at Market Square on Saturday, June 10th in London, Ontario during CMAOntario RoundUp 2017. Capping off the showcase will be a concert performance by River Town Saints with Eric Ethridge. This is a free concert with performances starting at 7:00pm. See you there! Saturday June 10th and Sunday June 11th will see the fourth edition of CMAOntario’s R2I TuneUp Conference move into the Delta London Armouries for a 2-day program of learning, networking and mentoring with trailblazers in the country music industry.  See full schedule details now posted online. 2-Day Delegate Passes are just $85 (plus taxes) for non-Members and $75 for CMAOntario Members (until midnight May 26th) and are available for purchase online now. The fourth edition of the CMAOntario R2I Spring Tune Up Conference will feature a two-day program of learning, networking and showcasing on Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11, 2017, at the Delta London Armouries by Marriott in London, Ontario. Programming will cover artist development, navigating Nashville, songwriting, digital marketing, promotion, funding and more. The Country Music Association of Ontario Announces the 2017 CMAOntario Award Nominees

The Country Music Association of Ontario (CMAOntario) is pleased to announce the nominees for the fifth annual CMAOntario Awards. Presented by Slaight Music, with support from the Ontario Media Development Corporation, the awards recognize the talent and achievements of Ontario’s country music industry across 16 categories.  Meghan Patrick leads the pack with seven nominations while James Barker Band, River Town Saints, Jessica Mitchell, Cold Creek County, Jason Blaine, Tim Hicks and The Abrams are among the multiple nominees being honoured at the ceremony on Sunday, June 11th at Centennial Hall in London, Ontario.
