From small-town Shelburne, ON and ready to make waves in country music, Jessica Sole has arrived.
Her new single, Think Of Us, was released to digital platforms and country radio in mid-August, and is already picking up steam through playlists, streams, and spins. The track has landed on curated playlists at Amazon Music, and made it to Sirius XM CBC Country, cracking the Top 40 on the CBC chart just two weeks after its digital release.
With inspirations like Kacey Musgraves, Miranda Lambert and Taylor Swift, Jessica Sole has dug into her songwriting and sound, carving out her space and building her audience as she goes. Those inspirations shine through in Think Of Us, with early Swift-esque storytelling and charm from beginning to end.
On Spotify, Jessica Sole’s “Fans Also Like” artists include Ontario favourites Nicole Rayy and 2021 Country Music Association of Ontario Rising Star award-winner Robyn Ottolini; and those are good fits and great company for the up-and-coming singer-songwriter from Shelburne.
No career is a true overnight success and Jessica Sole knows that. After five years invested in her career so far and with a Bachelor Degree in Music from Humber College (2020), she’s not afraid of work. And right now, with her producer/manager (CMAOntario Producer of the Year nominee Shawn Moore), she continues to work on her evolving sound, style and music. And if Think Of Us is the start of where they’re going, we’re all in for a treat.
As we all ease back into live music schedules, Jessica is too, with new shows being added to her calendar for Fall 2021. We’re all hopeful that more dates are coming for her and everyone else. We can’t wait for all of it to come back, and we know she feels the same way.
Learn more about Jessica Sole, and stay up to date with new music, her schedule, behind-the-scenes action, and more on her website and social media channels!
