Artist of the Month: Jason Blaine

Jason Blaine may sing about being “Born to Love”, but he really was born to entertain and has a track record to prove it.

Growing up in Pembroke, Ontario, Jason and his family moved to Nashville in 2006, where he got to work as a songwriter. His single “Rock In My Boot” would be released just one year later and would thrust him into the spotlight as his first number one song. It’s also one of 25 Billboard charting tracks for Jason to date.

His love for country music has solidified his role in the industry as a top songwriter, artist and entertainer.

Countless CCMA, SOCAN, and CMAOntario awards, over 10 million streams across DSPs, and seven albums (soon to be eight) round out Jason’s portfolio after over a decade in the industry. His success as a songwriter has amassed hits for Chris Jansen, Parmalee, Petric and Madeline Merlo, among many others.

He’s been able to run the successful “Jason Blaine Annual Celebrity Golf Classic” for seven years. The annual tournament has seen support from Dallas Smith, Tim Hicks, Chad Brownlee, Aaron Pritchett and Gord Bamford, as well as hockey legends Doug Gilmour and Bryan Murray. The tournament has raised over $600,000, which has been distributed throughout community organizations in the Pembroke area.

He kicked off 2022 with the release of his latest single, “Pretend You’re Mine”, co-written with Clayton Bellamy. It’s the second single off his upcoming album, which will hit all streaming platforms at the end of this month.

2022 is shaping up to be another incredible year for Jason. He will be headlining a show at the Opera House in Toronto on April 29th and we’re looking forward to seeing him on the road this summer.
