Let’s just open this file by doing a little name-dropping: Kelsea Ballerini, Hunter Hayes, Dan + Shay, Dean Brody, Dallas 
Smith, Jade Eagleson, Aaron Pritchett, Cold Creek County, Brett Kissel, Tebey, Michelle Wright, Emerson Drive, Tim Hicks… and the Kingston Frontenacs. Huh?
Abby Stewart has opened for every one of those names above, with the exception of Kelsea Ballerini – that’s a little
different connection. That’s because Abby’s single, “Love’s Gone”, was written by Ballerini (with Nancy Peacock and Brad Ellis). It’s logged over 31,000 YouTube views since its release a year ago. You might have seen her performing the tune onstage at events like Boots and Hearts, Havelock Country Jamboree, Ottawa Bluesfest, Trackside Music Fest, the CMAO Bonfire Concert, the CNE, the Tweed Stampede, and several more. Plus, the tune brings another marquee name to the list: award-winning producer Jeff Dalziel.
Abby released her EP “Firsts”, in 2015, which included her radio release “I’m Still Faster”; followed by its video release, which now has over 900,000 views on YouTube. In 2017, she collaborated with Invictus Entertainment and Big Star Records, releasing a duet entitled “What If They’re Wrong?” to national Canadian radio – added or featured on 22 stations from coast to coast.
OK, so that was then… what’s going on now? A quick scroll through her socials reveals little teaser drops from her recent Nashville writing expedition. So connect the dots, people: new stuff is comin’! Just to stay in front of an audience, Abby recently opened for another “act” – her hometown hockey faves, the Kingston Frontenacs.

Abby Stewart a fait la première partie de chacun de ces noms, à l’exception de Kelsea Ballerini – c’est un peu différent. En effet, le single d’Abby, « Love’s Gone », a été écrit par Ballerini (avec Nancy Peacock et Brad Ellis). Depuis sa sortie il y a un an, il a été visionné plus de 31 000 fois sur YouTube. Pour rester en contact avec le public, Abby a récemment fait la première partie d’un autre « spectacle » : les Frontenacs de Kingston, les favoris du hockey dans sa ville natale.
