Meghan Patrick and Tim Hicks Lead In Nominations
Cold Creek Country, The Abrams, Ryan Langdon, Gabrielle Goulet and Jade Eagleson Set to Perform
The Country Music Association of Ontario (CMAOntario) is excited to announce the nominees for the 7th Annual CMAOntario Awards. Leading the nominations are seven time CMAOntario Award winner Meghan Patrick, and five time CMAOntario Award winner Tim Hicks, with six nominations each.
Taking place Sunday, June 16, 2019 at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, the 7th Annual CMAOntario Awards, presented by Slaight Music with support from Ontario Creates, will acknowledge the talent and achievements of Ontario’s country music industry across 16 categories, and will include newly added performances by:
- five time CMAOntario Award winners and four time CCMA nominees Cold Creek County
- Fourth generation musicians and 2017 CMAOntario Roots Group of the Year winners The Abrams
- A 2018 iHeartRadio Future Star Ryan Langdon, celebrating the release of his single Leave Me Right
- the first ever CMAOntario Awards French language performer, and 2016 SOCAN Song of the Year winner, Gabrielle Goulet
- Jade Eagleson, whose 2018 music video for Got Your Name On It has 9.7 million views and counting, and more than one million streams on Spotify
Hosted by Jason McCoy, the CMAOntario Award Show will also include performances by; six time CMAOntario Award winner Jason Blaine; 2019 Juno Award nominee Tim Hicks; two time CMAOntario winner Kira Isabella; reigning CCMA Female Artist of the Year Meghan Patrick; 2018 CCMA Rising Star Award winners The Reklaws; two time CMAOntario Award winner Tebey; a special guest performance by The Washboard Union, 2019 JUNO winners of Breakthrough Group of the Year; and three time CMAOntario Award winners Western Swing Authority.
Guests will also be treated to a performance by multi-award winning country vocal group The Good Brothers who will be honoured with the 2019 Impact Award, for their enduring and indelibly positive footprint on the landscape of country music in Ontario.

Eligible members will have the opportunity to vote on the final ballot as of today up until April 23, 2019. Music fans can cast their votes for the Fans’ Choice award during the same period at www.cmaontario.ca/awards/voting.
The CMAOntario Award Show will close out the CMAOntario Festival & Awards Weekend in Ottawa June 14 – 16, 2019.
