Y’all know Meghan Patrick. She’s the 15-time Country Music Association of Ontario award winner, the CCMA Rising Star, two-time Female Artist of the Year, and Ontario-born-and-raised hit machine.
From the very start of her solo career with Bow Chicka Wow Wow, to her most recent single (and entry to the US country radio market), My First Car, Meghan Patrick has been capturing the attention of country music fans and building a reputation as a world class singer, songwriter and performer.
Note: If you still haven’t seen Meghan Patrick perform live, we highly recommend that you make a plan to do that when our stages are reopened and it’s safe to get out there and dance and sing along!
The Bowmanville, ON native was once in a bluegrass quartet called The Stone Sparrows, where she played at the first two Boots & Hearts Music Festivals in front of hometown crowds. Then, she struck out on her own, wrote more songs, got out there and made things happen.
We watched her play songwriter circles and industry showcases and then watched those shows turn into the big stage, loud, packed house events that we love. Meghan Patrick is a foot-stomping, guitar-slinging, stage-commanding artist that makes you pay attention, earns every second she gets in the spotlight and shows every person watching that Canadian country music has the level of talent we’re all looking for, right here at home.
And when she’s down in Nashville, we know she’s representing Ontario and Canada in a way that makes us proud with every song she writes, show she plays and fan she makes!
2020 was one hell of a year for everyone in music, but now that the calendar has flipped to 2021, we hope that things can start to get back on track for Meghan and everyone else. And if that means more new music, we are all in and very ready.
Stay up to date with Meghan Patrick’s new music news, behind-the-scenes action, photos, videos, upcoming schedule and more, on her website and social media channels!
