Roberta Michele

I’m Roberta Michele, a producer, songwriter, vocal coach, former major label artist (Sony), and artist developer. I’ve been blessed to have worked with many talented Ontario artists who are achieving incredible milestones in the Canadian Country Music industry. (Sacha, Tyler Lorette). I began playing piano at age three. I was writing, composing and playing my favourite songs on keys since I was five.

Music was my first emotional language and I became a professional working singer at age seventeen and would sign my recording and publishing deal with Sony by age twenty-three. During that time, I was also the ‘Feature Vocalist’ on two major Sony releases; Sucks To Be You by Prozaak, and A New Day Has Come by Celine Dion.

In 2008 I became a vocal and songwriting coach. In 2021, I launched RMM Artist Development, which has helped talented clients around the world follow through on their creative projects, which have become successful indie Single, EP and Album releases. Over the past 15 years my work with vocal clients has expanded into many areas:

-art direction/photoshoot consulting|planning
-artwork/graphic design
-stylist+brand
-content creation

To me, the best part is getting to be on a long journey with an artist. From learning to sing and write songs, to working with artists to achieve important initiatives such as, major prestigious grants, charting radio, major play listings, recording contracts, major television shows. etc.

Being able to help artists pull together the pieces to create a mosaic that represents the ultimate expression of their heart-centred music. I can’t believe I get to be a part of that.
