The video for “Heartbreak Song” – the latest from Michelle Wright’s Milestone album – features Michelle Wright and co-writer Adam Wakefield performing the song together in a simple black and white video.
“We all agreed that the music video needed to be simple and intimate in hopes that the listener could see and feel the emotion that Adam and I experienced while we were writing it,” Wright relates. “And having Adam appear in the video with me was the cherry on top.”

Independent music powerhouse Big Loud Records announced Friday the signing of Canada-born, Midwest-bred singer/songwriter Griffen Palmer. Breaking the mold with a sound all his own, Palmer is a lyrical force with a charming voice to match, rooted in accessible lyrics, small town sentiments, and deeply heartfelt ballads that leave listeners asking for more.
“Griffen is an incredible talent, and we couldn’t be more proud to keep him in the Big Loud family as a recording artist,” says Big Loud Partner/CEO Seth England. “His music is representative of who he is: thoughtful, strong, complex, nuanced. We can’t wait for everyone to get to know and love him the same way we do.”

Christina Hutt can fill a room with her rich, deep, resonate, out-of-this era voice and move you with her honest, charismatic delivery. Once described as a full-bodied glass of red wine, it is reminiscent of the succulent vocals you would have heard flowing from a transistor radio in the late 50’s. You will understand why Hutt has been dubbed “the voice” in her home town, Muskoka, Ontario.
She welcomes you into the secrets of her heart with fierce passion and endearing spirit. Christina’s diversity in genres is a pleasant surprise. The lyrics in her song “Cracks & Crevices” takes you deep into the chilling darkness of mental distress while her tune “Fifteen Shades” makes you feel like you just might be at a Patsy Cline Tribute Show.
“Thought You’d Always Be My Man” is Christina’s most recent release from her upcoming EP, Between The Knowing, due out in April. The song was co-written with Sue Smith and Jeff Bird (from the Cowboy Junkies).
Catch Christina opening for The Sadies at Hillside Inside on February 4.
