SiriusXM Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Country Music Association, is on the hunt for the next breakout country artist with Top of the Country.
Open to emerging artists from coast to coast, this nationwide competition spotlights Canada’s next generation of country talent with:
- Industry mentorship
- Performance opportunities
- A SOCAN songwriting camp
- A national stage — plus $25,000 for the grand prize winner and two $10,000 runner-up prizes

Eligible submissions reviewed and approved by the Hall of Fame Management Committee will be added to the established Grand List. OWEN RIEGLING RELEASES HEARTFELT NEW SINGLE BORN AGAIN
Rooted in reflection, growth, and unwavering companionship, "Born Again" captures Riegling's evolution as both an artist and storyteller.
"I woke up with that guitar riff in my head one day, took it to my friend Jesse's (Slack) place and we wrote Born Again in about 2 hours. The song just fell out. It's a combination of colours and visuals that remind me of the life I've been having with my wife, and how I'll always want to live."
THE ROAD HAMMERS HAVE A NEW LOUD AND GRITTY SINGLE
They called in some serious horsepower on this one, teaming up with Ian Thornley (Big Wreck) and Tyler Connolly (Theory of a Deadman) to help bring the heat. It's loud, it's gritty, and it doesn't let off the gas.
Watch out for the high-voltage music video, directed by Travis Nesbitt, dropping on January 26th. Shot flat-out at Dinosaur Downs Speedway in Drumheller, AB, it's all smoke, speed, and full-throttle attitude.
