The Road Hammers Turn Pain Into Resilience on “Stop The Bleeding”
The Road Hammers' release of "Stop The Bleeding" is one of the most heartfelt songs they have ever recorded. At its core, it's a powerful reflection on loss, the pain of letting go, and the challenge of moving on. The song speaks to those moments when life feels overwhelming, and all you can do is focus on making it through the next day. It's a reminder that sometimes healing doesn't come from grand gestures; it comes from simply stopping the bleeding and refusing to let the hurt cut any deeper.
Musically, the track is pure Road Hammers - blending the swagger of The Rolling Stones, the soulful grit of The Black Crowes, and a driving honky-tonk heartbeat. Featuring a commanding lead vocal performance from Clayton Bellamy, the track delivers vulnerability and grit in equal measure. The result is a stirring anthem of resilience that pairs raw emotion with the timeless, road-tested sound The Road Hammers have built their reputation on.
Jessica Sevier Finds Her Power on “Wild Wild Woman”
Toronto country artist Jessica Sevier teams with JUNO Award winners Serena Ryder and Hill Kourkoutis on “Wild Wild Woman,” a fierce anthem about reclaiming power after heartbreak and emotional manipulation.
The title track anchors Sevier’s debut EP, Wild Wild Woman, arriving September 4 via The Orchard. Drawing from personal experiences, including toxic relationships, mental health struggles and recovery from a serious horseback riding accident, the seven-song collection explores resilience, self-discovery and empowerment.
Created with collaborators including Robyn Ottolini, Ryder, Kourkoutis, Derek Hoffman and Ron Lopata, the EP blends country, roots, Americana, rock and R&B. It features previously released singles “Motel,” “Panic Years,” “Springsteen” and “Loser,” plus “Good to Drive,” Sevier’s first country radio Top 40 hit.
Sevier earned four 2026 CMAOntario Award nominations, winning Breakthrough Artist and Songwriter of the Year. She will make her UK debut September 4 before touring the UK and heading to Australia in January 2027.

“Out of the Ashes” Delivers a Powerful Message of Hope and Rebuilding
"Out of the Ashes" is based on a true story from Leroy Anderson’s childhood, when his family’s barn burned down. Leroy brought the idea to Eddie Eastman, and together they developed the lyrics and music.
The song feels especially relevant today, as communities continue to be impacted by devastating wildfires. At its heart, “Out of the Ashes” is about rebuilding after loss and finding the strength to move forward. Like the first blades of grass that emerge after a forest fire, it carries a message of hope, resilience and renewal: out of the ashes, we’ll rise again.

Genevieve Recognizes the Red Flags on Edgy New Single “Exit Signs”
Following the success of her single “Must Be Listening,” Genevieve returns with her newest release, “Exit Signs.” The track was again created through a collaborative process, with Genevieve recording her vocals in her home studio while longtime producer Jason Massey produced the music in Nashville.
“I wrote ‘Exit Signs’ with my longtime producer Jason Massey and my good friend, fellow Canadian artist Jason Blaine. Jason and I had been saying for years that we needed to write together again, so I’m thrilled this song finally made it into the studio.
“I love this one because it feels a little different for me—it’s edgier, darker and pushed me to explore my vocals in a new way. At its core, it’s a breakup song about recognizing the red flags and knowing when it’s time to leave.
“I think a lot of people will relate to this one, and I hope you love ‘Exit Signs’ as much as I do. Thank you for listening.”
Ryan Langdon “Brings It” with New Campaign and EP
Canadian Country artist Ryan Langdon is stepping into the spotlight as part of Crown Royal’s new “Bring It” campaign, marking a major career milestone for the rising artist. Featured both on-screen and behind the music, Langdon’s original song “Bring It” serves as the soundtrack to the campaign and is released today via The Elements Records / Virgin Music.
Building on the momentum of “Bring It,” Langdon also announced his sophomore EP The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, that arrived July 31 via MCMXVI / Slaight Music. The project further showcases Langdon’s high-energy country-rock sound and relatable storytelling. Dropping with the EP is the focus track “Little Red Rider,” written by Langdon, Jim Witter, Gerry Mosby and Marty Martino, who also produced the song. Blending carefree summer energy with vivid storytelling, the track captures the freedom and excitement of young love and open-road adventure.
