From James’s previous release, “Ain’t Enough Bars,” it’s clear that he enjoys experimenting by blending modern sounds with traditional elements. His style is an amalgamation of rock and country. However, if you follow him on TikTok, you’ll never know whose song he might do a cover of!
Brad’s journey into country music is one of passion, perseverance, and a deep love for telling stories through song. A memorable career highlight was in 2018 when he was named a finalist at Boots and Hearts Country Music Festival for their annual “Emerging Artist” showcase competition. The following year, he was also a Country Music Association of Ontario Rising Star nominee.
For fans of live country music, Brad James delivers an unforgettable experience. The energy he brings to the stage is electric, and it’s clear that he’s not just performing—he’s living in the moment with his audience. If you live in southern Ontario and frequent country bars, you’ve probably attended a live performance of his. He is a true performer, racking up to 200 shows each year (mostly every weekend!).
