MONETTE RELEASES “UN GARS DE LA VALLEE”
Monette, a prominent figure on the Franco-Ontarian music scene, returns to the stage with Un gars de la Vallée (‘Valley Boy’), the title track and first single from his sixth album, scheduled for release in spring 2026.
In this opening track, Monette digs into the Valley East roots that stoked the fire of his youth, tracing the destiny of an entire family – a lineage forged from hard work and quiet courage, forebearers who stood tall even when everything tried to break them.
The son of a feminist ahead of her time, and a Northern cowboy, his hands carved by labour, Monette was born of country tunes blasting from the cab of a big rig, dreaming of grinding his heels on the gravel of Chemin de la Sultan, and of spirits swirling like the old crows on Shanty Bay Road.

NEW MUSIC FROM STEVE RIVERS
This track came together during a time of reflection and growth. It’s a song about facing those moments when you feel pulled in the wrong direction, and finding the strength to push back and choose something better. Creating it from start to finish on my own — writing, producing, and shaping the sound — was both challenging and incredibly rewarding.

DAYNA REID RELEASES NEW SINGLE “I BELIEVE IN YOU”
Rising Canadian country artist Dayna Reid is turning up the fun with a cheeky new track, “I Believe in You,” available everywhere today. The single puts a playful spin on first impressions and the roller-coaster of trusting someone new.
“You know when you first meet someone and you want to believe the best about them? You give them the benefit of the doubt… until they show you who they really are,” says Reid. “I Believe in You takes a lighthearted twist on that moment – when what you’re left believing in are their true colours.”
With its clever hook and undeniable witty charm, “I Believe in You” is set to be a fan favourite both on playlists and on stage.
Adding to the excitement, Dayna will join country favourites Hunter Brothers on their Ontario tour stops in Chatham and Picton this fall, bringing her infectious energy and fresh sound to new audiences.

HAYDEN RYANN RELEASES NEW SINGLE “NO ROOM FOR BITCHIN”
Toronto-born artist Hayden Ryann brings a confident new voice to country-pop with her single “No Room for Bitchin’,” (Slammin’ Media and distributed worldwide by Believe) set for release on September 26, 2025. At just 21 years old, Hayden combines a modern lyrical directness with the warmth of country storytelling and the energy of pop, crafting music that resonates with young listeners who value authenticity and empowerment.
Growing up in Toronto’s Beaches neighbourhood, Hayden found her artistic spark early in music, poetry, and visual art. Summers spent in Montreal immersed her in the city’s thriving arts scene, shaping her creative identity. “The recording studio feels like my instrument,” she says, reflecting on her sessions in Nashville, Toronto, and Montreal that laid the foundation for her debut album arriving in 2026.
Her journey is anchored in her own words and experiences. “I’ve written over a hundred songs,” Hayden shares. “Songwriting is how I make sense of the world. It’s how I hold onto joy, let go of frustration, and find strength.” That philosophy runs through her newest track, a collaboration with The Lockyer Boys that centers on self-worth and unapologetic independence.
