Franco-Ontarian singer-songwriter Monette releases “Le vieux corbeau,” the second single from his upcoming sixth album Un gars de la Vallée, set for release in Spring 2026.
Blending roots textures with northern imagery, the song reflects on memory, time and the quiet wisdom of those who have watched life unfold. In the song, the raven becomes a symbol — a silent witness to gravel roads, work camps and the vast landscapes of Northern Ontario.
