Artist of the Month- Tyler Lorette

Artist of the Month: Tyler Lorette

There’s an old adage that if you want something done, give it to a busy person. If you’re looking for one of those, you can stop at Tyler Lorette.

His 2025 live show highlights included hitting stages at Peterborough with Steven Lee Olsen, Muskoka with Brett Kissel, Dave Woods’ “This Round’s On Me”, Oshawa Music Week, the Biltmore Theatre with Corey Marks, the Songs & Stories Round at the CMAOntario Festival, Paris Brews & BBQ Fest, CMAOntario Sharbot Lake Beach Bash, North of Nowhere Music Fest, Hollyrood Country Jamboree, Crooks Rapids Fest and CMAOntario’s SnowBall. Tyler snagged Songwriter of the Year at Durham’s DREAM Awards (also nominated for Solo Artist of the Year and Song of the Year), finished his 2025 live show schedule opening for Sacha, December 12th in Oshawa and fired it up again January 24th at the Winter Roots Fest.

“I Ain’t Thinkin’” proved itself to be one of the year’s most persistent earworms, but songs like “Ain’t That Guy”, “In the Dark”, ”Movin’ On” and “Home” paved the way. He’s not a trend chaser, either – his style is seasoned with traditional country spices but has a fresh feel.

And he’s not even 23 yet. Tyler began playing the guitar at 4 years old, and by the time he was 12, he was releasing original music, learning multiple instruments and performing on any stage he could find. A quick visit to his socials will reveal this guy’s all about energy, so we can count on him making a lot of noise in 2026.
