Artist of the Month: Nate Haller

Nate Haller is about to head out on the Cottage Springs Country Rising tour. What follows Nate is his debut Top 10 smash single, “Lightning in a Bottle,” his first Top 3 single, “Backfire” featuring Tenille Townes, 33 million global streams, and multiple CCMA and CMAOntario nominations, including CMAOntario wins for Album of the Year (2022) and Rising Star (2022). Not too shabby for the Waterloo, Ontario native.

Growing up in a household with music always on, Nate was surrounded by it, but didn’t actually pick up a guitar until he was in high school. Negotiating with his parents, they decided to let him pursue music for a year and defer going to university. Safe to say it all worked out.

Did you know that before his move to the solo spotlight, Nate toured with the Reklaws and Kira Isabella as a guitar player?

In 2023/2024, Nate was selected as one of just four artists to participate in the Allan Slaight JUNOs Master Class. He’s been named iHeart Radio’s Future Star, an Amazon Breakthrough Artist of the Month, and participated in Spotify Canada’s RADAR program.

Nate has played on major stages like Boots and Hearts, LASSO, Calgary Stampede, Country Thunder, and Cavendish Beach Music Festival. He’s opened for Dean Brody, Brothers Osborne, Dallas Smith, The Reklaws, and more.

Nate’s current single, “Thought About You,” is out everywhere now. You can catch him on tour across Canada this spring, with support from Mac Rumbolt.
