Artist of the Month : Les Bilinguish Boys
Formed somewhere between Azilda and Chelmsford, on the outskirts of Greater Sudbury, Les Bilinguish Boys are more than just a musical band. Stef Paquette, Dayv Poulin and Édouard Landry create a tailor-made show – on the spot – that combines vocals, guitars and improv to offer their audience a unique experience every time.
Born of a tradition that began at Lavigne Tavern in Nipissing, the trio has quickly become an annual must-see attraction. Their name, a joke inspired by an evening when an English speaker referred to them as “bilinguish” rather than bilingual, reflects the light-hearted, inclusive spirit of their performance.
Their simple, no-frills acoustic style is perfectly suited to the convivial atmosphere they create. With their original songs and covers, the Bilinguish Boys captivate their audience with a selection of songs that match their unique energy.
Don’t miss your chance to see the Bilinguish Boys in action at Bonfire during CMAOntario on June 1st! A show that promises to get the crowd involved, laughing, and having a boysingly bilinguish time!
Until then, be sure to follow their adventures on Facebook or YouTube.
