Artist of the Month: Justin Tyler

Today, Justin Tyler lives on a horse farm in Ontario with his wife, their son, and two dogs. His newest single “What Do I Do” was released October 30, following his January single, “Little Man”.

But let’s rewind.
Justin Tyler emerged on the Canadian country music scene in 2018, steadily building momentum with his music and live performances. In 2019, he was named a finalist in the Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase and released his album All About Her, featuring the singles “First Time,” “2000 Miles” and “Raise Your Cups.
Live performances helped fuel his growing career until 2020, when the pandemic brought live music to a standstill. He released the smash single “Better With You” in July of that year.

Returning in 2025, Tyler released “On and On”, which garnered editorial support from Apple Music (New In Country, Canada’s Country, Country Caffeine, Country Risers, and New Music Daily), and radio features with the Hot Country Canada as Breakout Artist of the Week and KXCountry’s Spotlight Artist.

With a career defined by persistence, real-life storytelling, and a genuine love for the music he makes, Justin Tyler is back.

Inspired by his journey to fatherhood, “Little Man” was written for his son. He says “Little Man is a song I wrote long before I ever held him, as a love letter from a future father to the boy I dreamed about. Now he’s here. Breathing. Real. Perfect. I wrote this song for him… but I hope it finds every parent, every soon-to-be parent, and everyone who dreams of one day holding a little hand that changes everything,” (Instagram, 2026).
