Artist of the Month: Jessica Sole
Emerging artist Jessica Sole’s dreams have soared far beyond the limits of her hometown of Shelburne, Ontario. Taking the stage from an early age, Jessica has been delicately crafting her skills as a songwriter and performer for over a decade.
Jessica’s newest single, “Homesick” (written by Madeline Merlo, Sam Ellis and Victoria Banks), features a brand new music video out now! Jessica Sole will also be headlining The Rivoli on Friday, November 21st.
The previous single, “Lightning Strikes,” has made an explosive impact, capturing the hearts of country music lovers nationwide and earning impressive early numbers and a surge in TikTok fan engagement. “Lightning Strikes” has received support from Apple Music (Canada’s Country, New In Country) and Amazon Music (Just North of Nashville, Fresh Country). “Lightening Strikes” was also featured as a Fresh Pick for Country 105, Country 104.9 and Country 93.7.
With TikTok love her way on a cover she posted of Fergie’s “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, Jessica released her country version of the 2000s hit in June 2025.
Jessica has showcased during Country Music Week at the CCMAs, Toronto’s CNE Country Stage, Departurefest, Thunder Bay’s Live on the Waterfront, Blue Mountain Countryfest, and Canada Day in Milton.
Hardworking by nature, she’s queued up some big releases next year as she continues to take her music to the next level. Jessica Sole continues to pursue her dream while ensuring no rhinestone is left unturned.
