In case you didn’t go to the CCMA’s Country Music Week event in Regina last year, a new opportunity was created there for artists to showcase. Angie Morris hosted a stage event called “Diamonds In the Rough” at a popular bar area in the Radisson Hotel. It was a wonderful opportunity for many artists to showcase during the week. Alberta’s Michaela Clarke was surprised and thrilled to play to all of Eric Church’s crew among folks who came to see her set. Eric’s guitar tech even checked her guitar for her before going on stage. The showcase was a success on many levels and submission is free. The only requirement: that you are a paid up member of both your provincial country music association (CMAO to you guys) and the CCMA. Sirroma Entertainment would like to extend an invitation to all Canadian Country artists wishing to perform an acoustic set during the week of Sept 4 – 8 in Edmonton, AB. For consideration for a spot, please send an EPK to firstname.lastname@example.org Artists must be a member in good standing with both their Provincial organization and the CCMA. The EPK should include bio, photo, music samples, and contact info, including website address, email address and phone number. Deadline to submit is May 15, 2013.
