CMAO / CCMA Fanfest Contest Runs July 10 through 24

Would you like a chance to perform at FanFest this September at PotashCorp Country Music Week in Saskatoon?

Last year’s Fanfest at CCMA week in Hamilton brought a raft of star  performers: Gord Bamford, Victoria Banks, Jason Blaine, Dean Brody, Chad Brownlee, George Canyon, Terri Clark, Doc Walker, High Valley, Charlie Major, One More Girl, Tara Oram, Aaron Pritchett, Deric Ruttan and Michelle Wright… and this September in Saskatoon is sure to be just as star-studded.

Think your name would look good in that list? Check this out:

The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) has invited all the Provincial Country Music Associations to take part in a contest to select one lucky artist for the CCMA FanFest this year at Potash Corp Country Music Week in Saskatoon, SK on Saturday September 8, 2012. A finalist will be selected from each association. Those finalists will compete in a national Facebook contest, and the winner is headed for the stage in Saskatoon!

The Country Music Association of Ontario (CMAO) will be selecting our Ontario finalist from submissions received between July 10 through 24,  2012. The lucky candidate will be announced and forwarded to the CCMA on July 31. After that, it’s up to the fans to decide who goes to Saskatoon! The Facebook contest will run from August 7 through 14, and the grand winner will be announced August 15.
