3rd Annual Country for Warriors Concert (Wounded Warriors Canada)
Graham Trude is an ex-soldier posted out of Edmonton, Alberta with the Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians) Tank Regiment. Graham served in Panjwai, Afghanistan in 2009 as an armoured crewman operating out of the Leopard (2A6M) Main battle tank. Graham relocated back to his home town of Collingwood, Ontario in 2010 after his contract with the military and has established an annual concert event for a military-based organization called “Wounded Warriors Canada”.
The event takes place at the Royal Canadian Legion in Collingwood, Ontario as a Country music acoustic concert, and involves a great amount of support from the local and surrounding communities. Previous headliners have included Juno and CCMA nominees Jamie Warren and Diane Chase.
Over the past two years, it has raised more than $10,000 for Wounded Warriors. Attendance is expected to grow significantly due to the great amount of success from previous years along with this year’s popular artist lineup.
Each year’s attendance growth spurs more funds to help our Wounded Warriors achieve the rehabilitation they need to help them reintegrate back into Canadian society after serving overseas. There will be radio and television coverage and Graham would love for you to help participate in the success of this year’s 3rd Annual Wounded Warriors Country Concert.
