Charity Softball Game – Ontario Country Artists vs. London Media

CMAOntario will host an official kick off event to launch the weekend of activities in London. The event will see an entourage of music industry professionals and country music celebrities take to the diamond to showcase their skills in a game of celebrity softball, followed by a concert in centre field by a series of Ontario artists.
CMAOntario will charge a nominal entry fee based on a donation at the door. A fun, family affair, the event offers a one of a kind experience for all attendees. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Unison Benevolent Fund and Kidsport London.

The fourth edition of the CMAOntario R2I Spring Tune Up Conference will feature a two-day program of learning, networking and showcasing on Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11, 2017, at the Delta London Armouries by Marriott in London, Ontario.

Programming will cover artist development, navigating Nashville, songwriting, digital marketing, promotion, funding and more. Attendees will hear first-hand the stories that inspired some of today’s top hits during the perennial favourite Songwriters In The Round session. Registrants will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with industry personnel during the Mentor’s Breakfast on Saturday and the networking lunch on Sunday.

CMAOntario Awards

The CMAOntario Awards acknowledge, promote and honour the achievements of Ontario’s country artists. The event features appearances and performances by some of the province’s most talented artists. Awards are presented in 16 categories, with winners in 14 of the categories determined by industry voting. The Fans’ Choice Award is the only award open to public voting, with the winner determined by the fans.  The Impact Award will be presented to Blue Rodeo.
